Abstract
270,370. Siemens Bros. & Co., Ltd., and Riber, C. R. Jan. 8, 1926. Inductances.-In loading- coils for telephone and like circuits wherein the coils are arranged in columns, each coil or each pair of coils is separately supported in the column. As shown, Fig. 1, the supports are termed from pressed sheet metal provided with projections 2 - - 13. The parts 2, 4 are downwardly turned and rest resiliently upon the top of the next lower coil, the parts 5, 7 being upwardly bent to embrace the supported coil. The tongues 8 - - 13 engage slits in side-plates 14, 15, Fig. 3, the side-plates being connected by bridgepieces 19, 16. The coil columns are carried between top and bottom plates and are suspended from the lid of the coil container which is filled with an insulating compound. The top-plate is attached to the coil frames by the bolts 17, 18 and the bottom-plate is provided with positioning pins which engage holes a in the bridge-pieces 19.
