Blades.-For tying or binding turbine blades a spacing member a is interlocked with some or all of a ring of blades c by mutual notching so as to prevent relative movement, and the member a and the blades are then secured by soldering, brazing, or like process. The member a may be of stream-line cross-section and may be provided with expansion bends; it may be of conical form in cases where the radial length of the blades is greater at the outlet than at the inlet end.
