Abstract
268,803. M³ller, P., and Rahlwes, K. March 31, 1926, [Convention date]. Capsules; capsules, making.-A bottle &c. is capsuled by a single metal-foil band of rectangular shape located over the bottle mouth, the remaining parts being applied to the bottle neck. Incisions are made in the strip to produce two flaps b which are first folded down on the bottle neck and two flaps a which are then folded down to complete the capsule. In a modification, the incisions are replaced by cut out pieces. In another form, a plain strip is used, the parts which have to be folded on each other being provided with adhesive to retain them in the folded position.
