Cutting biscuits.-In a machine for cutting baked wafer biscuits in two directions at right angles, the wafers are carried in a tray A past an adjustable stationary frame x with vertical severing wires by which the wafers are cut into strips. The strips are then carried, by a tray B, past wires K and cut into sections. The wafers are held in the trays by hinged fingers v. The trays are guided on fixed rods p, p<1> and are traversed by trunnions c,. c<1> engaging sprocket chains d, d' moved from hand-wheels f, h<1>.
