Abstract

266,209. Dehn, F. B., (Chemische-Pharmazeutische Akt.-Ges. Bad Homburg). July 1, 1925. Hypodermic injections.-Quinine solutions for subcutaneous injection are obtained by dissolving the base (not its salts) in one or more terpenes, such as terpinol, menthol, or linalol, and then mixing such solution with olive oil or other suitable oil. Other medicinal--substances may be added to the solutions. The terpenes selected may themselves be such as to have a remedial effect.
