Disc and like hinges; pivoting - adjustments. - The pivotal deflection of a copy-holder bracket is controlled in both directions by adjustable screw abutments. Two parallel channelled members 3a, 3<b> interconnected by stays 3<c>, 3<d>, 3<e> are pivoted by a pin 4 secured by a grub screw 6 to a lug 2 on a table lamp 1. Resilient washers 5 fit between the lug and members 3<a>, 3b. The lowermost stay 3e abut against lug portions in a recess in the lug 2 to limit motion, which is further limited by screws 8 steadied bv springs.
