Abstract
264,492. Franke, A. Jan. 15, 1926, [Convention date]. Paints.-Red-lead obtained from lead oxide which has been produced by the volatilization process, i.e. a process of the kind described in Specification 189,132, [Class 1 (iii), Oxides &c., Metallic], is used, in conjunction with a binding agent such as an oil in the manufacture of paints. The read-lead particles are of very small size, such as 4-5 microns, and paints made therewith are stated not to demix or thicken rapidly.
