Abstract

Bodies of closed vehicles comprise two or more longitudinal sections flexibly interconnected, a separate roof or portion thereof being, if desired, also flexibly mounted on the body. Fig. 2 shows a body comprising a broad central portion and narrow side portions 10, 12 flexibly interconnected by joints 15. The central and side portions are rigidly secured to the chassis but if desired the side portions may be flexibly mounted on the chassis. In Fig. 3, the body comprises two longitudinal portions 15. 16 flexibly interconnected at 19 and provided with a separate roof 20 flexibly connected to the body at 21.
