Eye instruments and appliances. - An appliance for removing particles of foreign matter from the eye consists of a slightly tapering smooth handle of which the lower end C is adapted for turning back the eyelid and the upper end B has inserted and firmly fixed therein a single loop A of bristle or hair for removing the foreign matter. The handle may be of bone or celluloid, or, according to the Provisional Specification, of wood or tortoise shell.
