Abstract

262,515. Wallace, R. Sept. 10, 1925. Cow-milkers.-A pulsator for milking-machine double-walled teat cups, wherein a reciprocating valve member e allows the passage of air to the space c between the walls when that space is under reduced pres sure and then falls to cut off the inflow of air when atmospheric pressure in the space has been attained, is fitted within the valve member with a loosely-fitting ball, piston, or the like f, the valve member being perforated as at h to allow for the passage of air through it. The member e slides in a chamber g which is secured to a plug l by a screw o, perforated cap r, and an outer part p connected to the plug as by a bayonet joint q. The ends of the member e have conical projections i, j which alternately seat in the air-inlet port k and in the end of the duct m leading to the interior of the teat cup. A second duct n leads to the space c.
