Abstract

261,851. Woodall-Duckham (1920), Ltd., and Krall, R. Aug. 28, 1925. Strainer separators.-In separators of the type described in Specification 219,651, sealing rings are arranged between the conical rotary screen b and the stationary hopper e. The necessary clearance, occurs between the ring c carried by the bottom ring a of the screen and a ring f on the stationary ring d a supporting the hopper. The rings are set so far from the periphery of the ring a that the clearance is protected by the rim from splashes.
