Trusses.-A hernia truss comprises a dorsal plate c to which are secured in par allel relation a flat meta spring d extending along the line of the groin tc near the middle of this line on each side and a second flat metal spring c extend ing partly round the waist and bent downwardly in front to join the ends of the first spring, to which they are connected to provide a pair of seats for pads g. The springs have warped curvatures so as to fit the body. Bandages may be attached by means of hooks and eyelets on the dorsal plate or by auxiliary springs e, f. The pads g may be connected by a cross band h for attaching a suspensory, urinal, or the like.
