Abstract
261,417. Popov V. Nov. 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Projectiles. - A bomb I intended to be dropped from aircraft is provided with a parachute 2, which opens out when the bomb is dropped, thereby stopping the horizontal speed of the bomb and causing it to fall substantially vertically. After a given time, determined for instance by clockwork, the parachute may be released, or may he overturned to serve as a stabilizer during the fall of the bomb.
