Abstract

A diesel filter comprising a housing 1, a water level sensor, a water discharging channel 28, an oil outlet pipe body 15 with a sidewall opening 16, and a heating element 7 positioned between upper and lower plates. The heater and a water level sensor are integrally designed, and water is discharged upwards through the positive pressure of an oil pump. The filter has a compact structure and a small volume and resolves the problem of insufficient space of a passenger car and difficulty in the water discharge operation. The heater transfers heat through the upper plate 4and the lower plate 5. The heater can quickly heat diesel fuel, thereby resolving the technical problem that wax precipitation of diesel fuel in a low-temperature environment blocks the surface of the filter element 23.

Description

DIESEL FILTER
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of mechanics and in particular, to a filter,which is specifically a diesel filter.
Background Art
[0002] In a diesel filter used in a vehicle in the prior art, a heater, a water level alarm, and a water discharge apparatus are designed independently, and a water discharge valve is disposed at the bottom of the filter. As a result, this structure is not compact enough, occupies large space, and is difficult to be arranged. Besides, each part is assembled independently, which results in excessive procedures and is time-consuming. The diesel filter is generally disposed at the bottom of an engine compartment or a chassis, so when water is discharged, the vehicle needs to be lifted or a ditch needs to be used, which is cumbersome.
Summary of the Invention
[0003] The present invention aims to provide a diesel filter. The diesel filter resolves the technical problems of the diesel filter in the prior art that the structure is not compact enough, the occupied space is large, the layout is difficult, and the water discharge operation is difficult.
[0004] A diesel filter in the present invention includes a housing, where an upper cover is disposed on the housing, a bracket is disposed in the housing, a heater is disposed on the bracket, the heater includes an upper plate and a lower plate, a positioning boss is disposed on the bracket, a heating element is disposed between the upper plate and the lower plate, the upper plate, the lower plate, and the heating element are all sleeved on the positioning boss, a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal are disposed on the bracket, a first pin of the upper plate is fastened onto the first terminal through a first screw, a second pin of the lower plate is fastened onto the second terminal through a second screw, a first oil inlet is provided in the bracket, the first oil inlet is connected to an oil inlet pipe, a second oil inlet is provided in the lower plate, a first oil outlet is provided in the upper plate, an oil outlet pipe body is disposed below the bracket along the axis center direction, an opening is provided on a side wall of the oil outlet pipe body, a second oil outlet is provided at an upper end of the oil outlet pipe body, the second oil outlet is connected to an oil outlet pipe, a water level alarm is disposed on the bracket, one end of a third pin of the water level alarm and one end of the other third pin of the water level alarm are connected to the second terminal and the third terminal respectively through the second screw and a third screw, and the other end of one third pin of the water level alarm and the other end of the other third pin of the water level alarm are disposed in the oil outlet pipe body and extend towards the lower part of the oil outlet pipe body; and a filter element upper cover and a filter element lower cover are disposed in the housing, the filter element upper cover and the filter element lower cover are sleeved on the oil outlet pipe body, a vertical first drain pipe is disposed in the filter element upper cover, the filter element upper cover and the first drain pipe are integrally formed, a filter element is disposed between the filter element upper cover and the filter element lower cover, a gap is provided between the filter element and the housing, a vertical second drain pipe is disposed in the filter element lower cover, a vertical first drain channel is disposed in the bracket, an upper end of the first drain channel is connected to a plug, a second drain channel is disposed in the plug, a water storage cavity is disposed at the bottom of the housing, the gap between the filter element and the housing is in communication with the water storage cavity, a lower end of the second drain pipe is in communication with the water storage cavity, an upper end of the second drain pipe is connected to a lower end of the first drain pipe, an upper end of the first drain pipe is connected to a lower end of the first drain channel, and the upper end of the first drain channel is connected to the second drain channel [0005] Further, the upper plate and the lower plate are fastened onto the positioning boss through a fourth screw and a spring plate, and the spring plate is disposed between the fourth screw and the positioning boss.

In the diesel filter of the present invention, the heater and the water level sensor are integrally designed, and water is discharged upwards through the positive pressure of an oil pump. The diesel filter has a compact structure and a small volume, thus resolving the problems of insufficient space of a passenger car and difficulty in the water discharge operation. The heater transfers heat through the upper plate and the lower plate and has a large area. The heater can quickly heat the diesel fuel, thereby resolving the technical problem that wax precipitation of diesel fuel in a low-temperature environment blocks the surface of the filter element, resulting in that diesel fuel cannot pass through and cold start is difficult.

Detailed Description of the Embodiments
[0017] The following further describes the present invention with reference to accompanying drawings and embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiments, and any similar structure and similar change of the present invention shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention [0018] Embodiment As shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 7, a diesel filter of the present invention includes: a housing 1, where an upper cover 2 is disposed on the housing 1, a bracket 3 is disposed in the housing 1, a heater is disposed on the bracket 3, the heater includes an upper plate 4 and a lower plate 5, a positioning boss 6 is disposed on the bracket 3, a heating element 7 is disposed between the upper plate 4 and the lower plate 5, the upper plate 4, the lower plate 5, and the heating element 7 are all sleeved on the positioning boss 6, a first terminal 8, a second terminal 9, and a third terminal 10 are disposed on the bracket 3, a first pin of the upper plate 4 is fastened onto the first terminal 8 through a first screw 19, a second pin of the lower plate 5 is fastened onto the second terminal 9 through a second screw 20, a first oil inlet 11 is provided in the bracket 3, the first oil inlet 11 is connected to an oil inlet pipe 12, a second oil inlet 13 is provided in the lower plate 5, a first oil outlet 14 is provided in the upper plate 4, an oil outlet pipe body 15 is disposed below the bracket 3 along the axis center direction, an opening 16 is provided on a side wall of the oil outlet pipe body 15, a second oil outlet is provided at an upper end of the oil outlet pipe body 15, the second oil outlet is connected to an oil outlet pipe 17, a water level alarm is disposed on the bracket 3, one end of a third pin 18 of the water level alarm and one end of the other third pin 18 of the water level alarm are connected to the second terminal 9 and the third terminal 10 respectively through the second screw 20 and a third screw 21, the other end of one third pin 18 of the water level alarm and the other end of the other third pin 18 of the water level alarm are disposed in the oil outlet pipe body 15 and extend towards the lower part of the oil outlet pipe body 15, a filter element upper cover 35 and a filter element lower cover 36 are disposed in the housing 1, the filter element upper cover 35 and the filter element lower cover 36 are sleeved on the oil outlet pipe body 15, the filter element upper cover 35 and the first drain pipe 24 are integrally formed, a filter element 23 is disposed between the filter element upper cover 35 and the filter element lower cover 36, a gap is provided between the filter element 23 and the housing 1, a vertical first drain pipe 24 is disposed in the filter element upper cover 35, a vertical second drain pipe 25 is disposed in the filter element lower cover 36, a vertical first drain channel 26 is disposed in the bracket 3, an upper end of the first drain channel 26 is connected to a plug 27, a second drain channel 28 is disposed in the plug 27, a water storage cavity 29 is disposed at the bottom of the housing 1, the gap between the filter element 23 and the housing 1 is in communication with the water storage cavity 29, a lower end of the second drain pipe 25 is in communication with the water storage cavity 29, an upper end of the second drain pipe 25 is connected to a lower end of the first drain pipe 24, an upper end of the first drain pipe 24 is connected to a lower end of the first drain channel 26, and the upper end of the first drain channel 26 is connected to the second drain channel 28.

Then, the diesel fuel enters the gap between the filter element 23 and the housing 1 through the first oil outlet 14, passes through the filter element 23 from the outer periphery of the filter element 23, enters the oil outlet pipe body 15 through the opening 16, flows out from the second oil outlet, and finally enters the engine through the oil outlet pipe 17. Impurities and water in the fuel are filtered out by the filter element 23, and the water that is filtered out flows downwards to the water storage cavity 29 through the gap between the filter element 23 and the housing I. When the water level in the water storage cavity 29 is higher than the two third pins 18 of the water level alarm, the two third pins 18 are turned on, and the water level alarm sends an alarm signal to remind the driver to discharge water. The driver opens the water discharge valve. Under the positive pressure of the oil pump, the water in the water storage cavity 29 flows upwards sequentially through the second drain pipe 25, the first drain pipe 24, the first drain channel 26, and the second drain channel 28, and then is discharged. When fuel is discharged from the second drain channel 28, it indicates that all water in the water storage cavity 29 is already discharged.
