Linkwork.-Rotary members subject to slight disalignment, such as occurs in the drive from an electric motor to the axle of a vehicle, are coupled by substantially parallel links 5, 6 and a pair 'of scissor levers 7, 8. The links 5, 6 are pivoted at their ends 1, 2 to one rotary membersuch as a driving wheel 'T and are jointed to the levers 7, 8 which are connected in scissor fashion by a pin 9. The end 4 of the lever 8 is directly pivoted to the second rotary member such as a pinion Z, whilst the corresponding end of the lever 7 is connected to the member Z by means allowing lateral play such as a link 10 pivoted at its end 3, or by a shoe 11 engaging a recess 13, Fig. 2.
