Abstract
A ball dispenser suitable for dispensing anti-viral/bacterial substances. The dispenser, which can be made of plastic, has an interior in which can be stored the substances, and has at least one ‘roll-on’ device, akin to those in anti-perspirant sticks, for releasing the substances such that when the ball is thrown or caught, the roll-on device is agitated, thereby releasing the substances onto a user’s hands. The roll-on device may not permit dispensing of the substances when not agitated. The dispenser can be single-use; or can have a removable plug attachable to the outer surface such that the dispenser can be refilled from an external source.
Description
BALLISTIC 19.
The purpose of this invention is to make a "Recreational Ball" into a safe toy helping to remove the current dangers of Virus's and Bacteria. Every time BALLISTIC 19 is despatched from the throwers hand it leaves traces of Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial substance onto the skin of the said hand thus protecting against possible contamination.
Equally when BALL-ISTIC 19 is caught in the hand or hands of the "Catcher" it also leaves traces of Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial substance on the recipients skin so doing the same.
BALL-STIC 19 is based on the idea of an outer case, made from any material but most probably plastic by choice inside of which is a smaller ball which is immersed and held either by a fluid or powder holding the Anti-Viral or Anti-Bacterial substance. The same principal which is well already known and used is referred to as a DEODERRENT ROLLER is used to disburse the "ROLL-ON" liquid under the arm pit for which purpose it has been created. The current device is always in the form of a hollow stick in which the liquid to be disbursed is held. Inside the Hollow stick and at one end is an opening which holds and retains a small ball which when revolved lays down the liquid substance. The internal revolving ball or door also acts as a stopper thus allowing only the amount of liquid to leave the container that it is designed to "pick up" by it's revolving motion and design.
BALLISTIC 19 however is not a "STICK" but is a BALL, and unlike the stick it has two or more internal inner revolving smaller balls with two external exits doing exactly the same job as the "DEODERRENT ROLLER but doubly or more.
BALLISTIC19 May be a single item and when the Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial has been totally used up it can become just a simple recreational ball or used in other games or domestic purposes. However in another format the BALL-ISTIC19 could have a plug which can be removed and replaced on it enabling it to be refilled from a container containing the Anti-Viral and Anti-Bacterial substance enabling further use as originally intended.
A further important difference is that by putting minute crevices into the two small revolving balls surfaces, powder rather than liquid can be used as the Anti-Viral or Anti-Biotic substance to protect the hands from becoming infected.
After use the Plastic items instead of being "single use items" can be by outer printing designs such as numbers or Alphabet lettering be used for many other useful purposes, including other games eg. Bowls, Boules etc and domestic uses.
Claims (4)
- CLAIMS.1. A Recreational Ball Dispenser able to dispense Anti Viral/Bacterial substances held within the interior of the ball so that when the ball is despatched from the hand of the thrower it will leave an amount of Anti Viral/Bacterial substance on the skin of the hand of the thrower and equally when the Recreational Ball Dispenser is caught it will also leave an Anti Viral/Bacterial substance amount on the catchers hand the substance released is created by a Roll-On device similar to that of an Anti Perspirant stick which when the Roll-On Ball is agitated releases an amount of substance, in this case Anti Viral/Bacterial substance; thus giving protection from dangerous Virus's which may be already present or subsequently invade the hand.
- 2. A Recreational Ball Dispenser unit according to Claim 1 that's outer case is made of plastic but not necessarily so; the outer case may hold one or more Roll-On devices to dispense the Anti Viral/Bacterial substance.
- 3. A Recreational Ball Dispenser unit according to claim 1where the Roll-on device also acts as a stopper when not agitated as with a current Perspirant Stick.
- 4. A Recreational Ball Dispenser unit according to claim 1 will ideally be the size of a Tennis Ball but not limited to that size.S. A Recreational Ball Dispenser unit according to claim 1which may have only a single use but a removable plug may be attached to the outer surface of the Ball or other means to enable it to be refillable from an independent source a container that will hold much larger C\I quantities of Anti Viral/Bacterial substance thus giving long lasting usage to the Recreational Ball Dispenser.CO
