Abstract
An electronic cigarette smoke suction machine having an adjustable power source, which is characterized in comprising: an electronic cigarette smoke suction machine body and an adjustable power source (7); the smoke suction machine body comprises a main cabinet (2), a computer (5), a suction unit, a clamping and capture mechanism (6) and an air discharge system (4), and the smoke suction machine body may perform suction tests having specified suction parameters on electronic cigarettes and capture particulate phase matter and gas phase matter; the adjustable power source supplies power to an electronic cigarette heating element by means of a specified suction unit suction trigger signal and power setting parameters, and controls the electronic cigarette heating element turning on and off according to a suction timing sequence.
Description
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE SMOKING MACHINE WITH ADJUSTABLE POWER SOURCE
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the technical field of smoking test and analysis technology for electronic cigarettes, and in particular relates to an electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source.
Background
An electronic cigarette is an electronic product that imitates a traditional cigarette, and is actually a portable nebulizer. Normally, its electrical power is supplied by a battery, and, by using an internal heating mechanism, it converts tobacco tar into evaporation gas for a user to inhale. The tobacco tar within an electronic cigarette can be artificially adjusted into various flavors, and considering that the traditional cigarettes is banned in more and more venues, the electronic cigarettes are becoming increasingly welcomed as a substitution for traditional cigarette products.
Researches indicate that the smoke generated by an electronic cigarette is equally harmful to human body, and the electronic cigarettes cannot be regarded as an effective means for people to quit smoking. Carrying out researches on smoke of electronic cigarettes requires a smoking machine, and as compared to traditional cigarettes, there is lack of dedicated smoking machine products on the market for smoke analysis of electronic cigarettes. Some so-called smoking machines specifically developed for testing the smoke of electronic cigarettes usually can only be used to test those electronic cigarettes that start evaporating tobacco tar with suction air flow, but can do nothing about another kind of electronic cigarettes that require the user to actuate the evaporation function via a device such as a button. It is a problem demanding prompt solution how to study the influence that the working voltage, working current and operation time of a heating element in an evaporator have on smoking gas composition analysis in combination with turning on and turning off of the evaporation function in an electronic cigarette test process.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to overcome the deficiency of prior art instrument so as to provide an electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source, which has an adjustable power source in addition to the function of smoking an electronic cigarette according to predefined smoking parameters and capturing particle substance and gas substance in the smoking gas, wherein the adjustable power source is directly connected to a heating element for electronic cigarette so as to supply power to the heating element for generating heat.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, the present invention adopts the following technical scheme:
An electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source comprises a main body and an adjustable power source 7, wherein, the main body comprises a mainframe 2, a ventilation system 4, an input and output device 1, and castors 3 for supporting the aforementioned components and performing a moving function; the mainframe 2 has a computer 5 and at least one smoking unit mounted therein, a holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette is mounted upon the mainframe 2, an electronic cigarette is fastened onto the smoking machine by the holding and capturing mechanism 6 and is smoked by the smoking unit; the holding and capturing mechanism 6 is adapted for capturing particles from the electronic cigarette; the adjustable power source 7 is mounted upon the holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette; the computer 5 is installed with program for controlling the electronic cigarette smoking machine.
The adjustable power source 7 comprises a casing, an electronic circuit board with a microprocessor as a core element, a voltage adjustment module, a trigger signal port for the smoking unit, and a voltage-current sensor; wherein the casing has other components of the adjustable power source 7 mounted therein, cables are connected in or out through connectors disposed on a front plate and a back plate of the casing.
The ventilation system 4 is adapted for discharging smoke produced by the electronic cigarette, and the input and output device 1 is adapted for inputting parameters and outputting data.
The trigger signal port for the smoking unit is able to be selectively connected to a smoking signal port of any smoking unit of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, so as to transmit the smoking trigger signal of the selected smoking unit to the electronic circuit board inside the adjustable power source 7.
The voltage-current sensor is connected in the power supply circuit of a heating element for electronic cigarette, so as to measure actual working voltage and working current in real time; the voltage adjustment module is able to convert an input power source voltage into a preset voltage and output the preset voltage; an internal power source or an external battery is used for supplying power.
The electronic circuit board with the microprocessor as the core element is able to communicate with the computer 5 so that the parameters are set by means of the program for controlling the electronic cigarette smoking machine, and in the meantime the data of actual working voltage and working current of the heating element for electronic cigarette during a working process is transmitted to the computer 5 and then displayed by means of the input and output device 1.
The electronic circuit board with the microprocessor as the core element is adapted for regulating the output of the voltage adjustment module according to parameter setting during the working process of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, so as to make the working voltage applied to the heating element for electronic cigarette reach a preset voltage value; controlling the connection and disconnection of the output of the voltage adjustment module according to parameter setting and time sequence of the smoking trigger signal of the smoking unit; and controlling and selecting an input power source for the voltage adjustment module.
The voltage-current sensor comprises a voltage sensor connected with two ends of the heating element and in parallel with the heating element, and a current sensor connected in series in the power supply circuit of the heating element for electronic cigarette.
The voltage adjustment module has an adjustment interval of 0.1V and a direct current power source output range of 0-10V; the current sensor has a measurement interval of 0.01 A.
The holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette is adjustable according to the diameter and length of the electronic cigarette.
The smoking unit has a smoking volume no more than 125 milliliters, and a smoking duration of no more than 10 seconds.
A sliding guide track is mounted at the connection part between the adjustable power source 7 and the holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette, so that the adjustable power source 7 is able to move left and right on top of the smoking machine.
The working steps disclosed in the present invention are as follows:
Turning on the power source of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, and executing the control software program in the industrial control computer; setting the smoking parameters and schemes for electronic cigarette in the control software program, selecting a smoking unit to use the adjustable power source and sending its trigger signal to the adjustable power source; connecting the output power line of the adjustable power source to the heating element on the smoking unit for the electronic cigarette to be tested; setting an output scheme for the adjustable power source, which in particular includes a serial number of the smoking unit corresponding to the trigger signal, pre-heating time (the output time of the adjustable power source before the smoking unit starts smoking), and a voltage value corresponding to each smoking puff within a maximum number of puffs; starting the test after the setting is completed, so that the adjustable power source automatically connects, disconnects the power supply and adjusts the voltage thereof according to parameters such as the pre-heating time, the smoking time, the voltage value of each smoking puff; in the meantime, collecting the actual working voltage and working current of the heating element for electronic cigarette, so that the consumed power during the smoking process of the electronic cigarette is acquired.

After reading the content of the present invention, a person skilled in the art can make various modifications and changes to the present invention, and these equivalent forms all fall into the scope defined by the claims of the present application.

Detailed Description of Embodiments
The present invention is described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source comprises an adjustable power source 7 and a main body. The main body has an input and output device 1, a mainframe 2 and a ventilation system 4.
In an embodiment, the mainframe 2 is constructed by a metal frame, with castors 3 mounted on its bottom to support the entire machine and perform a moving function. A holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette is disposed upon the mainframe 2, so as to facilitate mounting and using of electronic cigarettes. The electronic cigarette holding mechanism is adjustable according to the diameter and length of electronic cigarettes, and the capturing mechanism is mounted with a 44mm Cambridge filter to capture particle substance in the smoke.
Smoking units controllable by a computer 5 is mounted inside the mainframe, together with the computer 5. In this embodiment, the smoking unit can realize a smoking volume up to 125 milliliters and a smoking duration up to 10 seconds. An industrial control computer is utilized, with software program for controlling the electronic cigarette smoking machine installed therein. A touch control display panel serves as the input and output device, and is connected to the industrial control computer for inputting parameters and displaying data.
The ventilation system 4 has an alternating current blower as a driving source which is controlled by the computer 5. When a smoking test begins for an electronic cigarette, the blower is started, and the smoke produced by smoking the electronic cigarette is vented through an air duct; when the test is completed, the blower is shut off.
An important feature of the present invention is that an adjustable power source 7 which is mounted upon the holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette is provided. In this embodiment, a sliding guide track is mounted at the connection part between the adjustable power source 7 and the holding and capturing mechanism 6 for electronic cigarette, so that the adjustable power source 7 is able to move left and right on top of the smoking machine, for the purpose of facilitating connecting the smoking trigger signal port to a designated smoking unit.
FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of the electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source.
The internal functional modules of the adjustable power source 7 comprises an electronic circuit board with a microprocessor as a core element, a voltage adjustment module, a trigger signal port for the smoking unit, and a voltage-current sensor. In an embodiment, these functional modules are housed within a casing, and waterproof connectors are provided on a front plate and a back plate of the casing for inward and outward connection of cables such as power source input and output lines and a smoking trigger signal line.
The voltage adjustment module is able to convert an input power source voltage into a preset voltage and output the preset voltage. In this embodiment, an adjustable switching power source module serves as the voltage adjustment module, wherein a direct current power source within the mainframe of the smoking machine can be selected to supply power, or an external battery can be selected to supply power. The voltage adjustment module has a minimum adjustment interval of 0.1V, a direct current power source output range of 0-10V, and a maximum output power of 100W.
The voltage-current sensor is utilized to measure actual working voltage and working current of a heating element for electronic cigarette in real time. Wherein, a voltage sensor is connected with two ends of the heating element and in parallel with the heating element, and a current sensor is connected in series in the power supply circuit of the heating element for electronic cigarette. The measurement precisions that can be achieved are respectively 0.1V and 0.01A.
During operation, the adjustable power source 7 must be connected to the smoking trigger signal of a designated smoking unit. In this embodiment, the switching electric signal of each smoking unit is directed out such that the trigger signal port of the adjustable power source 7 can be connected to the trigger signal of any smoking unit. This signal is ultimately connected to an interrupt trigger source of the microprocessor and serves as an important basis for determining the working time sequence.
In an embodiment, the electronic circuit board uses an ARM CORTEX-M3 cored microprocessor as the core element, and conducts serial communication with the computer via its internal serial communication peripherals. In one aspect, its parameter setting can be performed by the control software program of the electronic cigarette smoking machine installed in the industrial control computer; in another aspect, the actual working voltage and working current of the heating element for electronic cigarette during the working process are transmitted to the computer, and displayed by the input and output device.
The microprocessor adjusts the output of the voltage adjustment module according to parameter settings in the working process of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, so as to make the working voltage applied to the heating element for electronic cigarette reach a preset voltage value. The smoking starting time is acquired from the smoking trigger signal of the smoking unit, and thereby, in combination with the parameter settings, the connection and disconnection of power supply to the voltage adjustment module can be controlled. The input source of the adjustable power source can be controlled and selected by directly switching between an internal direct current power source and an external battery.
Claims (12)
1. An electronic cigarette smoking machine with adjustable power source, characterized in comprising a main body and an adjustable power source (7), the main body comprises a mainframe (2), a ventilation system (4), an input and output device (1), and castors (3) for supporting the aforementioned components and performing a moving function;
the mainframe (2) has a computer (5) and at least one smoking unit mounted therein, a holding and capturing mechanism (6) for electronic cigarette is mounted upon the mainframe (2), an electronic cigarette is fastened onto the smoking machine by the holding and capturing mechanism (6) and is smoked by the smoking unit;
the holding and capturing mechanism (6) is adapted for capturing particles from the electronic cigarette;
the adjustable power source (7) is mounted upon the holding and capturing mechanism (6) for electronic cigarette;
the computer (5) is installed with program for controlling the electronic cigarette smoking machine.

The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 1, characterized in that, the adjustable power source (7) comprises a casing, an electronic circuit board with a microprocessor as a core element, a voltage adjustment module, a trigger signal port for the smoking unit, and a voltage-current sensor; the casing has other components of the adjustable power source (7) mounted therein, cables are connected in or out through connectors disposed on a front plate and a back plate of the casing.
3. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 1, characterized in that, the ventilation system (4) is adapted for discharging smoke produced by the electronic cigarette, the input and output device (1) is adapted for inputting parameters and outputting data.

The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 2, characterized in that, the trigger signal port for the smoking unit is able to be selectively connected to a smoking signal port of any smoking unit of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, so as to transmit the smoking trigger signal of the selected smoking unit to the electronic circuit board inside the adjustable power source (7).

The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 2, characterized in that, the voltage-current sensor is connected in the power supply circuit of a heating element for electronic cigarette, so as to measure actual working voltage and working current in real time; the voltage adjustment module is able to convert an input power source voltage into a preset voltage and output the preset voltage; an internal power source or an external battery is used for supplying power.

The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 2, characterized in that, the electronic circuit board with the microprocessor as the core element is able to communicate with the computer (5) so that the parameters are set by means of the program for controlling the electronic cigarette smoking machine, and in the meantime the data of actual working voltage and working current of the heating element for electronic cigarette during a working process is transmitted to the computer (5) and then displayed by means of the input and output device (1).

The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 6, characterized in that, the electronic circuit board with the microprocessor as the core element is adapted for regulating the output of the voltage adjustment module according to parameter setting during the working process of the electronic cigarette smoking machine, so as to make the working voltage applied to the heating element for electronic cigarette reach a preset voltage value;
controlling the connection and disconnection of the output of the voltage adjustment module according to parameter setting and time sequence of the smoking trigger signal of the smoking unit; and controlling and selecting an input power source for the voltage adjustment module.
8. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 5, characterized in that, the voltage-current sensor comprises a voltage sensor connected with two ends of the heating element and in parallel with the heating element, and a current sensor connected in series in the power supply circuit of the heating element for electronic cigarette.
9. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 8, characterized in that, the voltage adjustment module has an adjustment interval of 0.1 V, a direct current power source output range of 0-10V, and a maximum output power of 100W; the current sensor has a measurement interval of 0.01 A.
10. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 1, characterized in that, the holding and capturing mechanism (6) for electronic cigarette is adjustable according to the diameter and length of the electronic cigarette.
11. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 1, characterized in that, the smoking unit has a smoking volume no more than 125 milliliters, and a smoking duration of no more than 10 seconds.
12. The electronic cigarette smoking machine of Claim 1, characterized in that, a sliding guide track is mounted at the connection part between the adjustable power source (7) and the holding and capturing mechanism (6) for electronic cigarette, so that the adjustable power source (7) is able to move left and right on top of the smoking machine.
