Combined transmitting and receiving arrangements; keying and modulating systems.-In a system for communicating between two stations only one of which has a source of power, one station E comprises a transmitting-circuit 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, and the other station R comprises a receiving-circuit 7<1>, 8<1> tuned to the first station and a key or microphone 9<1> for modulating the received current. The, modulated currents produce signals in the receiving circuit at station E, which are amplified by an amplifier 9.
