Abstract

Clips and clamps, pivoted - jaw. - A clamp for suspenders, braces, &c. comprises jaws A and B, the jaw B being pivoted at G between upturned sides C of the jaw A, while a sliding wedge H also accommodated between the sides C is pulled up to force outwards a roller E and so move the jaw B towards the jaw A against the pressure of a spring F mounted on the spindle G. When the jaws are open the roller E fits into a recess J in the sliding wedge H.
