Abstract
256,052. Govan, A. A. Aug. 7, 1925. Hasp fastenings; cupboard-turns; locks, squarekey and like.-Doors, lids &c. are secured by a fastening member which is operated by turning one of the attaching nails or screws of a plate fixed on the door &c. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the door A is secured by the turn-button E which is turned into the recess G on the doorpost B by turning the attaching screw F. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the hasp D on the lid A is secured by turning the members G, G<1> into recesses E<2> by the aid of the attaching screws H, H<1>. The plate may be a name plate and the inclination of the saw-cuts in the operating attaching screws may indicate the position of the fasteners.
