A CONCRETE MIXER COVER
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a cover for a concrete mixer, and in particular a protective cover for protecting components of the concrete mixer from the external environment.
Background
Cement mixers are left outside in all weathers and exposed to the external environment. Conventionally, makeshift covers are made by an operator out of empty delivery bags in order to provide a minimal amount of thermal insulation and protection from the elements.
These makeshift covers are inadequate and often fail. As a result, the engines of the mixers become wet and as a result will not start when required. The engines may also fail due to exposure to damp weather conditions causing significant down time while the engine are repaired.
