Spray producers; coin action, weight; coindischarging mechanism. - Perfume is delivered in a spray from one of several bottles 4, Fig. 2, through a corresponding nozzle 7, after setting an outside member to connect the particular bottle required to a pneumatic blower 13, by operating an actuating handle 27 of the blower which is released by the insertion of a coin. The handle 27 is locked by a catch 42, Fig. 4, projecting from and pivoted to an arm 30 depending from a counterbalanced coin lever 32. A coin inserted into a bucket 33 on the lever 32 tilts the lever to remove the catch 42 which is turnable in one direction only. The handle 27 is now depressed to actuate the blower and, during its downward movement, actuates the projecting end 40 of a bent wire hook 39 blocking the lower end of the coin bucket. The hook 39 rotates in lugs 41 and allows the coin to drop. In order to prevent a pumping action of the handle 27 to obtain more than the proper quantity of perfume, it travels between two arresting levers 51, 52, Fig. 6, provided with ratchet teeth 53, 54 for preventing upward and downward movement respectively of the arm 27. When a coin is inserted an arm 59 on the balance beam 32 moves the lever 52 out of the path of the handle 27 to allow this to be moved down, the lever 51 ensuring a complete stroke. At the end of its downward movement the handle 27 strikes a bent end 60 of the lever 51 to move this lever against the action of a spring 57 out of the path of the return movement of the handle 27. The lever 51 is held in this position by a pivoted catch 61 until the handle is returned when it lifts the catch and allows the lever 51 to be returned to normal position. Testing coins.-Small coins fall out through side slots in an inclined portion 37 of a shoot which leads the coins to the bucket 33. These small coins fall into a separate receptacle.
