Warehouses; garages.-A garage or storehouse is formed with the floors arranged alternately so that a portion 6 of one floor 3 overlaps a portion of the floor 9 next below, and runways 7, 8 arranged in pairs are provided, one leading upwards and the other downwards so that the - vehicles travel in the same directions. By this arrangement, a portion of one floor overlaps a portion of the floor next below and storage spaces of sufficient height to store various heights of cars or goods are provided. In a modification, the side platforms 10 are connected by a cross platform 11, Fig. 4.
