Abstract

254,058. Chalmer, E., May 12, 1925. Curtains, suspending.-A curtain runner comprises two stamped or cast metal frame members 1, 2 pivotally secured at their upper ends to a shaft 5 carrying a roller 6, their lower ends having apertured lugs 7, 8 to receive a curtain hook 11. The members 1, 2 are formed with strengthening ribs a. The roller, which may be constructed of wood, vulcanite, hard rubber or metal with rubber tyres, has a central reduced part with inclined bearing surfaces 13, 14. The roller may be made in sections. According to the Provisional Specification the apertures in the lugs are preferably triangular in shape.
