Shelves.-Pivoted shelves of the kind adapted to be swung up to give access to the next lower shelf are maintained in their raised position by springs 5 connected between the shelves and the rear members 6 of their supporting frames. The front edges of the shelves are supported by short legs or spacers secured to their undersides and the shelf surfaces are preferably inclined towards the centre to facilitate drainage.
