Abstract

252,584. Brooke, A. Aug. 18, 1925. Trimmings.-The core 2 of a beading or moulding for trimming upholstery is composed wholly or partly of. paper. The paper may be formed into strands or strips and be twisted or spun into rope formation and to them moulded to the desired shape after softening with an adhesive. Animal or vegetables fibres may be incorporated in the core during spinning. Alternatively, the core may be made from paper pulp to which may be added shredded leather, pulverized cork, or ground vulcanized rubber and an adhesive. The Provisional Specification describes a modification in which the paper or paper pulp is wholly or partly dispensed with and ground leather or cork or ground vulcanized rubber or combination of two or more of these materials is used in its stead.
