Drinking - appliances for animals. - A drinking-appliance for animals or birds comprises an upper reservoir A adapted to be secured in a shallow saucer B by a locking rim D on the reservoir engaging under projections H on the saucer, the rim having cut-away parts M, N. to permit the insertion of the reservoir in the saucer. A handle F is fitted on the reservoir and an opening I is formed in the side to permit the flow of water. The saucer is provided with a protruding cup C and has an inwardly coned base F provided with a screwed stopper G for filling purposes.
