252,351. Guttman, H. H., and Guttman, S. May 20, 1925, [Convention date]. Catches yielding to pull or pressure.-One element of a snap fastener consist of a metal plate 12 carrying a wire loop 14; the other elements consists of a metal plate 13 carrying two wire loops 15, 16, the shorter and wider loop 15 being curved so that its end lies close to the loop 16, which is almost flat. The loop 14 is forced between the loops 15, 16 and is held by the resilience of these loops.
