Abstract
A foot muff for a baby harness carrierA footmuff or foot cover to attach to a baby harness carrier, more specifically a baby harness carrier which is attached to the body of a carer, whereby the device provides a safe quick function for the device to be attached to most common baby harness carriers and be easily attached or detached without disturbing or removing the baby from the baby harness carrier, whereby the device can be folded into itself (figure 4) to form a light and compact carrying device (figure 5) for easy transportation. The foot muff may comprise front and rear panels forming a generally sack like enclosure with side fastenings to accommodate straps of the baby harness carrier. A cover for the footmuff can be pulled over the footmuff and attached in place, whereby the footmuff and cover can be folded to form a carrying device for transportation.
Description
ALL IN ONE COMPACTING BABY HARNESS CARRIER FOOTMUFF
This invention relates to a compacting footmuff and cover attachment for a baby harness carrier, more specifically a baby harness carrier which is attached to the body of a carer.
Baby carrying aids are useful, helpful and aids boding between carer and baby aiding the carer freedom to avoid cumbersome pushchairs or prams.
Baby carrying aids have developed over may years and are used in many cultures with great effect and benefit for the baby and carer The problem with many carrying aids are babies legs are left dangling and exposed.
leaving babies legs vulnerable to the cold, sun, rain or insect bites and most coats or cardigans cannot wrap around the baby in the baby harness carrier Carrying a footmuff is a problem if the weather changes and the footmuff has to be removed, as the carer already has a baby to carry and stabilise and its sometimes difficult to carry bags with the hands. Quite often the weather is not predictable and carer and child quite often get caught up in rain, winds and dangerous sun rays. To keep removing the baby to change clothes can cause the child to become irritable and dangerous if the child cannot have the footmuff removed quickly.
The present invention proposes a solution to all these difficulties.
The present invention can provide protection for the child's dangling legs from all weathers, the present invention can provide the device with a quick technique to attach or detach in an emergency, the present invention can provide extra shade for the babies head or waterproofing for the baby harness carrier, footmuff or baby when caught in the rain.
The present invention can provide different choices in weather proofing all in one, enabling the carer to be ready for protecting the baby in weather changes.
The present invention can easily compact into a carrying device for transporting around the waist, shoulders, pram any other carrying device or hand held or the like.
The present invention is easily cleaned and stored.
The compacting footmuff is simply configured comprising front and rear panels (forming a generally sack like enclosure) with side fastenings preferably velcro (RIM) to accommodate straps of the baby harness carrier to pass inside of the footmuff, so as to cover a child's legs therein, and to hold the footmuff in place, with an attachment preferably a pocket to accommodate the cover whereby the cover can be pulled over the baby harness carrier and footmuff, comprising preferably a back middle panel and 2 narrow side panels to form preferably a concave with an attachment preferably a strap, comprising clips on each end to clip with 2 clip-on the top of the cover to enable quick release which is worn around the back of the neck to hold the cover in place, and whereby the bottom of the cover comprises an attachment preferably an elastic top edge to place the bottom of the footmuff therein and whereby the cover is preferably attached preferably with velcro (RIM) in the inside of a pocket on the preferable position of the lower end of the footmuff, whereby preferably the top part of the cover and the footmuff can preferably be folded into the pocket of the lower part of the cover therein, then a preferable top flap 2.
for the pocket is folded over the entirety to prevent unfolding whereby the unclipped strap worn around the back of the neck to hold the cover in place is disconnected from the top of the cover and then can be attached either side of the configured, bag with preferably clips and held or worn on the carriers body for transportation.
The present invention can be made from different types of materials to accommodate different weathers, temperatures or preventions or the like, different fastenings can be used, ideally velcro (R.T.M) . Outer or inner pockets can be inserted to be used to hold a dummy, toy, mobile, keys or the like, any part or all of the device may conform to a stylist shape such as a flower, car or the like, the footmuff can preferably be of a sack like enclosure but can be made to take the form of the baby's legs by simply making a divide in the lower end of the device as is done with trousers, the device can also have detachable feet An inner cover may be inserted to increase warmth inside the footmuff, by attaching with ideally poppers or the like or any Other attachment for fastening.
The device can accommodate a sunshade cover with or without a bottom pocket to accompany the device of the footmuff and rain cover or just footmuff, to attach permanently or be detachable can have ideally velcro (RIM) fastenings for attaching, or any other fastenings other than velcro (RIM). 3.

Referring to figure 10 Shows all panels fastenings and clips, side panels of cover 24a and 24b each to be sewn to either side of back middle panel 27 with clips 5 attached at the top horizontal side 27, at 3 strap of the neck support/carrying device has clips attached 4, to connect to clips 5.
On the right side of the materials of 27, bottom horizontal side is sewn to top horizontal side of 2a edge to edge, turn over to the wrong side of the material whereby the top long 5.
vertical edge of 20 (velcro (RIM) facing down) is sewn on to the bottom horizontal side of 27 edge to edge, the top horizontal side of 15 is the sewn onto the bottom edge of 27, top edge 20, edge to edge together on the right side of materials sew on 2b to 2a not sewing the top horizontal top leaving the opening as to form the covers bottom pocket opening. Sew in clips 26a and 26b. Ideally device can be lined as not to show the seams or seams may have edging such as ribbon or the like.
