Description

Composition, Method and Use of the same The present invention relates to a composition, method and use of the composition.
More particularly) the present invention relates to a composition suitable as a skin tanning agent (among other applications)) use of the composition for tanning skin (among other applications)) a method of tanning skin, and a method of masking skin.
It is widely acknowledged that most human beings will often be conscious of their appearance. This may be for professional and personal reasons) for instance.
Perception, for example, drives many people to dress and present themselves in a particular way so that they may be perceived by others in a certain way. For this reason) it could be said that cosmetics and cosmetic surgery are playing an ever-increasing role in society. People are willing to change the appearance of their bodies by ways such as hair transplants) cosmetic surgery, self-tanning products) weight-loss products and weight-gain products in order to have a desired appearance.
There are many known substances and compositions which are used to cosmetically treat the skin of a subject in an attempt to provide an artificial tanned colouring of the skin. For example, it is generally known that dihydroxyacetone, when applied topically to human skin) will produce a tanned appearance.
A sun-tanned appearance is generally regarded as a symbol of a healthy, a well-travelled, and active life. However, obtaining a natural sun-tan can carry with it the risk of being exposed to the damaging effects of sunlight and artificial sources of ultraviolet radiation. These risks are well documented in commonly available literature. For instance, some of the effects may include erythema (skin burn), skin cancer, loss of elasticity) wrinkles and premature aging of the skin.
While products, such as sunscreen, are available which may counteract at least some of these harmful effects of exposure to ultraviolet radiation, they tend to reduce the efficacy of the cosmetically-desirable tanning process. For this reason, a subject who uses sunscreen for protection may be foregoing the full tanning effect Tanning compositions/agents are) therefore, a popular alternative to natural sun-tan; especial', where a tan-effect is urgently desired or if the subject aims to avoid exposure of the skin to natural sunlight for prolonged periods.
Another way people often manipukte their bodies is to control their weight This can be done in a variety of way which includes liposuction, Injection lipolysis (a controversial cosmetic procedure in which drug mixtures are directly injected into patients with the goal of breaking down fat], and weight loss creams. To gain weight methods such as drinking protein shakes, eating energy bars, and increase in food consumption are generally employed.
While known weight-loss ointments and creams can be useful for their intended purpose, these ointments and creams tend to have a sole function.
A further point of concern for people regarding their appearance can be their skin texture and whether it is visually soft or hard. Many moisturisers that are available tend to achieve their desired function, but do not necessarily exceed this desired function.
It is desirable to provide compositions which are able to achieve a combination of the effects hitherto described without compromising each other's effect Indeed a synergistic effect is desrible.
From the discussion that is to follow, it will become apparent how the present invention addresses the above-mentioned deficiencies associated with known compositions and techniques while providing numerous additional advantages and application not hitherto possible or contemplated by the art According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a composition comprising a lipolysis agent:, a surface smoother, at least one anti-oxidant and a tanning agent.
The composition advantageously combines the effects of skin tanning and weight reduction. This has the benefits of improving the appearance of the skin by the tanning component while reducing body fat Rather than applying two separate products to achieve this effect or carry out two separate procedures (such as invasive surgery)) the present invention provides a concurrent effect. The effects are also synergistic. The combination of these elements also save time for the user having to apply different compositions, thereby making the process simpler, more hygienic and desirable.
The composition may comprise a stress-relieving agent The composition would, therefore, offer the additional properties of relieving stress for the subject by the mechanism of release of endorphins in the tissue.
It may be that the lipolysis agent and/or the stress relieving agent is betaphroline.
The surface smoother may comprise pracaxi oil. Pracaxi oil has skin moisturising and skin soothing properties.
The composition may have at least one anti-oxidant which comprises l3uriti oil, Strawberry extract and/or Cocoa extract. An antioxidant is a molecule that inhibits the oxidation of other molecules. Oxidation reactions can produce free radicals and these radicals can propagate chain reactions. When the chain reaction occurs in a cell, it can cause damage or death to the cell. Antioxidants terminate these chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates, and inhibit other oxidation reactions. These anti-oxidants also tend to be rich in vitamins which is well received by human skin.
The tanning agent may comprise dihydroxyacetone.
According to another aspect, the present invention contemplates a composition comprising at least one lipolysis agent, at least one anti-oxidant and a surface masking agent.
The composition advantageously combines the effects of improving the appearance of skin by masking it and also weight reduction. This has the benefits of improving the appearance of the skin by the masking agent while reducing body fat Rather than applying two separate products to achieve this effect or carry out two separate procedures (such as invasive surgery), the present invention provides a concurrent effect. The effects are also synergistic. The combination of these elements also save time for the user having to apply different compositions, thereby making the process simpler, more hygienic and desirable.
The masking agent gives the skin the appearance of a smooth and glowing surface which is generally desirable.
The at least one lipolysis agent may comprise betaphroline and/or chrysanthellum indicium.
The at least one anti-oxidant may comprise assahi extract, pitanga extract, capuacu extract, passion fruit extract and/or pracaxi oil. These components may be obtained from the rainforest and are particularly potent and beneficial to the subject for providing an anti-oxidant function.
The surface masking agent may comprise polymethylsilsesquioxane spherical powder having an entrapped diamond core. The surface masking agent may manipulate incident light by converting invisible UV light to blue light (photoluminescence) and selectively scattering favourable blue and green light. The particles of the agent may subtly illuminate a blue glow which decreases the appearance of wrinkles. This would tend to present youthful looking skin as the
S
appearance of shadows, wrinkles, pigmentations and discolourations are diminished.
The entrapped diamond core maybe photoluminescent This may give the subject a pleasant appearance.
The powder may be spherical.
The composition may comprise a skin softener. The skin soften would advantageously give the skin an appearance of a soft texture which is generally desiraNe.
The skin softener comprises a blend of silica, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide. This Nend is particularly potent and achieves its function with high efficacy.
In another aspect, the present invention envisages a composition comprising at least one lipogenesis agent, at least one anti-oxidant and a surface masking agent The composition advantageously combines the effects of improving the appearance of skin by masking it, providing a moisturising effect by way of the at least one anti-oxidant, and also weight gain. This has the benefits of improving the appearance of the skin by the masking agent while moisturising and gaining body fat Rather than applying three separate products to achieve this effect or carry out three separate procedures (such as invasive surgery), the present invention provides a concurrent effect. The effects are a'so synergistic. The combination of these &ements also save time for the user having to apply different compositions, thereby making the process simp'er, more hygienic and desiraNe.
A particularly useful application for this composition may be for breast growth, for instance (although, it will be appreciated that other areas of the body may achieve equally beneficial results].
The at least one lipogenesis agent may comprise commipheroline.
The at least one anti-oxidant may comprises assahi extract, pitanga extract, capuacu extract, passion fruit extract and/or pracaxi oil. These rainforest extracts may have a particukrly potent effect when combined with the lipogenesis agent and the masking agent.
The surface masking agent may comprise polymethylsilsesquioxane spherical powder having an entrapped diamond core.
The entrapped diamond core maybe photoluminescent The powder may be spherical.
The composition may comprise a skin softener.
The skin softener may a comprise a blend of silica, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide.
