Abstract

249,981. Capitelli, C. Feb. 14, 1925. Amusement apparatus.-Passenger cars of the type driven from overhead wire netting have the electric motor 2 reversible and controlled by a switch 13, which preferably has a delayed action to enable the motor to slow down and stop before being reversed. The switch may be handoperated by a lever 12, or a switch 21 may be mounted below the floor 22 so as to be operated by a bar 23 rocked by pedals 28 which engage the arms of a lever 25 mounted on the bar 23. A wheel 9 is connected by spindles 9', 11' with a steering-wheel 11. A pneumatic buffer 15 is mounted on the part 16 of a ball-race, the other part 17 of which is carried by the car. The car runs on pivoted castors 8.
