Mud-guards.-In detachable side wings which are fitted to mud-guards by a strap of the kind comprising two half clips adapted to lie and be bolted against the exterior of the mud-guard blade and having abutments of irregularly-shaped grooves to co-act with the opposite edges of the mud-guard blade, the abutments being formed by doubling over the metal of the half clips, each half clip c of the strap is doubled upon itself to form a distinct U-shaped groove c' to embrace the side edge a<3> and adjacent interior surface of the mud-guard blade and is fitted thereto so that the flange-like edges d<2> of the side wings d lie inwardly against the adjacent edges of the mudguard a. A flexible end-flap may be secured over the mud-guard and under one of the clips.
