Aerials.-An aerial comprises two or more metallic strips or ribbons plaited, interlaced or successively bent back and forth one over another so as to form an extensible or compressible member having angularly disposed multi-directional surfaces. Fig. 2 shows an aerial formed by successively bending two ribbons A, B back and forth one over another, the aerial being in its com. pressed condition. Fig. 3 shows the aerial extended.
