Abstract

249,298. Hird, R. Feb. 28, 1925. Rollers and roller heads.-The spring weighting-hooks 7 of spinning, doubling, twisting, and like machines are anchored to brackets 8 on a pivoted rail 9, which is connected by brackets 11 and links 12 to a pin 13 on a worm wheel 14, so that, by operating the wheel 14, the rail may be moved to release the ends 7a of the hooks and thereby relieve the top rollers from the action of the springs 5.
