Abstract

249,036. Ostberg, N. F. B. Oct. 12, 1925. Studs. - A two-part fastening for buttons, studs and cuff-links comprises a member a having a flat shank b with projections c at one end, and a socket member d provided with a locking device f having an inwardly directed sleeve m of oval cross-section formed with longitudinal slots g leading to transverse cut-aways h. The shank b is pressed into the sleeve m against a spring e and is turned until the projections c register with the slots g. The shank is then given a further partial turn to lock the projections c in the cutaways h.
