Abstract

238,783. Jackson, J. Feb. 3, 1925. Studs.-The tilting head of a collar stud, cuff-linfl, or like fastening is provided with an integrally formed projection 13 and is slotted or recessed at 12 diametrically opposite to the projection so as to grip the shank 1 and maintain the head in alignment therewith and thus facilitate its entry into buttonholes. Two forms in which the head is slotted are described, one, shown in Fig. 1, being adapted to tilt on either side of the shank. In a further form the head is recessed instead of slotted and can thus be rotated in one direction only relatively to the shank.
