Abstract
248,974. Slansky, P., and Deutsche Linoleum-Werke Hansa. June 5, 1925. Plastic compositions containing fibres, linoleums, cement, &c.-Linoleum cement is made by melting together solid oxidized oil and resin in the absence of oxygen, under ordinary or increased pressure. In an example, 80 kg. of linoxy. 15 kg. of resin, and 5 kg. of kauri copal are heated to 160‹ C. in an autoclave, from which oxygen has been removed, the pressure being allowed to rise to 3 atmospheres. The melting is accelerated if the mass is worked up with not more than 10 per cent of water.
