Abstract

A permanent and/or reusable strap is provided that is able to be threaded through the spokes of a wheel and to fix there to provide extra tread grips for driving in such condition as mud, snow and ice. The strap may comprise an elongate threaded material 1 having a first end and a second end, the first end may be provided with a housing 3 provided with a hole. The second end, in use, may be threaded into the hole 3 and secured with a wing nut 2.

SNOWGRIP
The present invention relates to a permanently fixed or reusable device or devices to thread through the spokes of a wheel to fix there and provide tread grips that can stop the wheel from sliding and spinning on snow and ice, namely "Snowgrip".
Other device seen is a chain that fits around a wheel, however if this chain detaches it could snare up in the wheel, brake disc and pads or pipes, which could cause serious accidents.
It is the object of this invention to provide a device or devices to thread through the spokes of a wheel to fix there in a continuous string or individually. It is preferred that single units are fixed because if one detaches it will simply fall to the roadside and should not effect or wrap the wheel or brakes in any other instance.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMPYING DRA WINGS
Referrini to Figures: -Fig. 1, at 1 is the threaded material with block housing with hole through whereby threaded material I is turned into housing hole 3 to form a band and secured there by wing-nut 2.
Fit._2 at 4 is the Snowgrip unit whereby us turned into housing holes 3 and is secured by wing-nut 2.

Claims (2)

  1. CLAIMS: What is claimed is: 1. A permanent and/or reusable snowgrip strap that will thread through the spokes of a wheel to fix there and provide extra grip treads for driving in adverse condition such as mud snow and ice.
  2. 2. A reusable grip tie and/or strap.
