248,454. Pitcan, W. I. Dec. 3, 1024. Abdominal belts.-An abdominal or body belt is formed of three sections of inelastic material. a back section a' and front sections a<2>, a<3>. The sections a<2> and a<3> are secured to the section a<1> by lacing e .and the sections a<2>, a<3> are connected by buckles c and long straps d. Long flaps b provided on the sections a<1>, a<2> and equal in depth to the depth of the belt are arranged to underlie the three fastenings and to bridge any gap which may exist between adjacent sections when the belt is expanded. Stiffeners f and ventilation holes 9 may be provided.
