Abstract
A pan which prevents overspill of milk and other cooking liquids whilst being boiled has a solid base A and vertical sides B. The height of these vertical sides defines the pan's practical capacity. At the top of the vertical sides an overspill area is formed. The overspill area includes a region of increased diameter. The overspill area allows the liquid to cool slightly and fall back into the central main area of the pan.

DESCRIPTION
Utensil (pan) for boiling milk that wiU not overflow, using a simple concept that can have many shapes and sizes.
For the purpose of this description, we assume a utensil with a 1 litre capacity that is 2/3rds full Note; any size and capacity are adaptable. This new design/invention is specifically designed to completely eliminate overspill of milk when being boiled. All of the milk stays in the pan/utensil. The design also prevents the overspill of various other liquids used in the area of cooking.
The basis of the new design/invention is as follows; A utensil with the capacity to hold namely milk but not excluding most other liquids used during cooking. The utensil would have a solid base (Figi A) of varying thickness, i.e. for practical purposes, from 1mm to 20mm, depending on materials being used, with sides that rise up vertically (Figi B). When the sides have reached a height that is appropriate for the utensil's liquid capacity a new angle is formed (Figi C) to take the utensil's vertical sides to a more horizontal shape. Ideally, the change in angle should be of a gentle upwards slope with a rising angle of approx 15 degrees. This angled section of the utensil should protrude from the sides for a distance approximately 1.5cm at which point a steep curve continues to almost vertical (Figi D) measuring approximately 2cm. Measurements can vary according to capacities and asthetics.
The principle of the design however, prevents namely, milk, but not excluding other liquids used in cooking, boiling up and over the sides of a pan, the new design/invention contains overspill within the newly designed horizontal sides of the utensil and depending on material used the milk/liquids fall back into central area, having a slight cooling effect, this cooling effect varies depending on angle and materials used in manufacture.
The system works using many different shapes and sizes of protruding tops of utensils, for the purpose of cleaning, curves are most suitable. Placement of handles, (Figi E) is a matter of balance in relation to design. Lids are optional but require being made so as not to hamper purpose of utensil. As with most pans, design does not cater for burning base, however the previously noted cooling effect' can help with a slowing down of a burnt base, where a burnt base may arise.
