Abstract
A back support for the prevention of back pain, comprising a polymer panel strapped to the front of the body via a belt around the waist, the panel extending both above and below the belt covering most of the upper torso and thighs of the human body on the front side only, and further comprising bends facing away from the body at the top and bottom of the panel, along with a third bend below the belt position to cause the upper section of the panel to form a gap between it and the top of the wearers torso. The polymer panel once cut out to size is heat treated to allow for the shape of the human body and to bend outwards the upper and lower edges to stop the product digging in to the body.

DESCRIPTION
HOW TO MANUFACTURE TEE GARDEN EAZY
The Garden Eazy is a product specifically designed to reduce and probably eliminate back pain once strapped around the waist. The type of back pain typically associated with bending over during gardening, building or other related activities.
Drawing Number I shows in detail the required shape of the polymer piece and the dimensions for removing excess material from the basic rectangular shape. It also contains the details for the place for the name and logo of the product and where the belt eyelets are positioned as well as all the dimensions.
Drawing Number 2 details the the shape of the polymer once it has undergone heat forming, although the upper middle and lower bends in the material are not shown they are described below.
A piece of 4mm thick polypropylene, with dimensions of 460mm x 508mm is cut to shape with a specialist machine know as a high pressure water jet. (See drawing number 1).
To achieve the required form thereafter for lesser or greater flexibility excess material is removed up to A for least flexibility, B for medium flexibility and C for greatest flexibility, as detailed in drawing number 1. Belt eyelets are also machined from the piece to allow for a light weight belt to be strapped to the polymer piece.
Once the machining has been achieved including the cut outs for the name of the product and the logo it is then heat treated by hot metal rollers or hot air jets to form the required shape. This is to achieve a general shape of the human body and to bend outwards the top and bottom edges so they do not dig into the torso or thighs of the wearer. (See drawing number 2).
The whole piece is also bent below the belt eyelets so as to cause the shape to stay 50mm away from the top of the torso.
Once the product has been cut and shaped a light weight synthetic belt is put through the belt eyelets and strapped around the waist and fastened using an attached small Velcro' piece.
The product will allow the user to bend over while standing or kneeling and have the small of the back protected from muscle cramps due to the tension within the polypropylene material which resists the weight of the body moving in a forwards motion.
