Abstract

245,632. Briscoe, H. A. March 3, 1925. Contents, viewing and delivering.-A case for needles &c. comprises a glass, celluloid, or other transparent tube 1 which is divided into longitudinal compartments 7 by hollow radial arms 5 and closed by end caps 2, 3. The end cap 2 is rotatable and is provided with a hole 6 which can be turned into registration with any of the compartments 7 to facilitate withdrawal of the contents. The end caps 2, 3 are secured by means of an axial rod 4. A pointer 8 is so disposed on the cap 2 that when opposite one of the arms 5 the case is closed. In a modification one arm 5 is made wider than the others and closed at the end adjacent the cap 2. A strip of sheet metal is provided between this arm and the casing inscribed with the word " Shut," and the pointer on the cap 2 is arranged to be opposite, this strip when the case is closed.
