Abstract

244,901. Baker, C. A., and Bell & Croyden, Ltd., J. Dec. 4, 1924. Electric appliances; vibratory treatment. - A massage vibrator comprises a hand or electrically operated applicator 10 to which an electric current is supplied from an outside source by a conductor 14, a metal plate 15 in contact with the patient serving as the return lead. The applicator 10 is made of conducting material and is carried in a metal housing 7 which is insulated from the casing 5 of the appliance. The applicator is operated by a pin 11 which engages in a recess formed eccentrically in a head 6 on the shaft of the motor 3.
