Abstract

A panel securing attachment comprises a v-shaped spring loaded fastener as shown in Figure 1, where the two open ends of the v-shape fastener each feature a flange including serrated or razor edges. The serrated / razor edges serve to embed the fastener into a standard timber panel shown in Figure 3 and a concrete post shown in Figure 2. The invention eliminates movement between the fence and the post and so prevents rattling during inclement weather and also protects the panel from theft. The fastener is preferably made of steel.

Description

DescriDtion The Spring Loaded Panel Grip is fixed to a standard timber
fence panel.
When the fence is erected the grip will be attached to the timber panel and the concrete post. This will eliminate movement of the fence panel and prevent rattling in inclement weather. It will also help to prevent theft of the timber fencing panel as it will be securely fastened in place.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims The Spring Loaded Panel (hip is made of steel it is easily fixed
to a standard timber fence panel as it has a razor edge which is hammered into the fence panel, and the same razor edge on the opposite side of the grip would penetrate the concrete post to secure it into place. When the fence is erected the grip will be attached to the timber panel and the concrete post. This will eliminate movement of the fence panel and prevent rattling in inclement weather. It will also help to prevent theft of the timber fencing panel as it will be securely fastened in place.
