Abstract

A cartridge or cassette like information display means may be releasably attached to a garment hanger. The cartridge displays the size of a garment attached to the hanger. The cartridge may contain a strip of material upon which is printed a plurality of different size options and other information relating to garments thereon. A series of windows or apertures may be provided in a casing of the cartridge. As the selected size option is set on one window the same size is simultaneously displayed on the other windows. The windows may be positioned to allow viewing of the selected size option from the front, back and side of said cartridge at the same time. The material upon which said information is printed may be a thin film or web like strip which may be wound between a pair of parallel spaced cylinders, see fig 3. The detachable device may clip onto the hook area of a garment hanger and may display multiple sizes. Said cartridge may be detached from the hook of a hanger via the use of a special tool (not illustrated) in order to prevent unauthorised or accidental removal of said cartridge.

Description
The detachable device (Figl,l.1) will display multiple sizes by incorporating a very thin strip of material (Fig 3,3.1) rather like a 35mm film strip which would be attached to two cylinder shapes (Fig 3,3.2) that can rotate to show different sizes on the strip of material through two apertures or more (Fig 2,2.2) in the outer casing (Fig 2,2.1) The position of the apertures will be such that the size can be viewed from the front, back or the side of the detachable device, thus allowing garments to be displayed front on or side on.

Claims (5)

  1. Claims 1. A detachable device that can be attached to a metal or
    plastic clothes hanger hook which has the facility to display multiple sizing options on the front, back and sideways direction using a thin film like strip of material on which is printed/labelled all sizing/information options.
  2. 2. According to claim 1 where the device consists of a thin strip of material which can be printed or labelled with indica, numbers, words.
  3. 3. According to claim I where the device consists of two cylindrical parts and an outer casing incorporating two side apertures that allows information to be displayed either on the front, back and side of the device.
  4. 4. According to claim 1 where the size strip can be interchanged.
  5. 5. According to claim 1 where the device can only be removed from the hook area by a special tool to prevent the device becoming a choking hazard.
