Abstract

A blank is provided which is used to form a packaging box and also has a tear-off portion which can be separated to form a display card. Preferably the display card is a show card with a folding strut piece which can be locked in position by a folding locking piece to allow the show card to stand freely. The blank may be made from plastics, paper, corrugated board, metal or fabric. Once a user is in possession of a box formed from the blank, they can remove the tear-off portion and use it is as a separate display item. A perforation is preferably provided to allow removal of the tear-off portion.

<p>Description</p>
<p>This invention relates to a show card, to display relative special offers or deals in the retail market.</p>
<p>With traditional show cards that are printed on to a board with a separate strut attached to the reverse to enable it to stand fig 1. Thereafter the show card is packed in a separate outer, and sent out to the relevant destinations.</p>
<p>However, this method of production involves a lot of manpower and material. The present invention can overcome these additional items of material and time, by implementing the strut and packaging box into one action fig 2.</p>
<p>This is achieved by cutting out all the relevant items from one single action. Enabling the packaging box and show card to come out of! sheet of material. With a perforated edge fig 3, so that once the recipient receives the package they can just tear the show card off from the actual packaging and lock in the reverse strut fig 4.</p>

Claims (1)

  1. <p>Claims 1. A show card unit comprising of a strut or any packaging
    feature from a single sheet of relevant material.</p>
    <p>2. A show card unit according to claim 1, in which the final size of the display can be of any varied sizes.</p>
    <p>3. A show card unit according to claim 1, in which the method of locking strut has not been manipulated in terms of design by changing the locking mechanism.</p>
    <p>4. A show card unit according to claim 1, in which the method of packaging has not been manipulated in terms of locking mechanism or which side it will be attached to the actual show card.</p>
    <p>5. A show card unit according to claim 1, made from any man made or naturally resourced plastics, paper, corrugated board, metal or fabric.</p>
