Abstract

A support bracket comprises a planar elongate body 1 for placement against the surface of a post or similar shaped structure such as a tree. The body includes grooves or pathways 4 near each end which accommodate straps that are then passed around the post and secured to hold the body in place. A support member 2 is fixed to the front of the body from which various articles can be suspended by means of a plurality of slots 3. In order to support heavy loads a back plate (10 fig 3) is placed behind the body. The back plate has a lower horizontal surface on which the body can rest and has a strap 12 which is secured around an anchorage (such as the limb of a tree) above the assembly. The body can be attached to the back plate by dovetail formations.

Description

ADAPTABLE DEVISE ACTIVITY BRACKET (ADAB)

Description:

The (ADAB) (Fig 1) is designed to enable people to attach items to trees I posts on a permanent, semi-permanent or temporary basis.

(Fig 6) In Gardens: Plants, Fig 4(14) a solar panel (15) and battery pack, (16) to run lighthi (17) security sensors, (18) a bird house and feeder can all be suspended from the (ADAB) (Fig 1) For signage: The national road and travel network could use them for signage, easily attachable to lamp, or camera posts, etc. The advantage is the reach, adaptability and ease or use it has for this purpose.

Harvest: MUlti brackets may be attached on one belt, on a fruit tree, with harvest nets fitted to the (ADAB) Fishing: A rod adaptor can be fitted for attaching fishing rods to a pier post or tree.

Windbreaks: A beach pier adaptor for a windbreak Or pegs included, for general use.

Bespoke Items: These may also be manufactured to enhance this products versatility, such as a basketball or tennis net for outdoor sports and recreation.

The list is extensive.

One application of the product benefits.

A regular baby bouncer comprises of two parts, the support for the baby to hang in, and a bouncy rope attached to a clip which hooks onto the door frame.

The (ATAB) accessory can adapt to fit the baby bouncer. Fig 5(18) This is the ideal solution to keeping your baby in the shade, and safe from eating worms, or crawling in something worse, or even crawling away.
The bracket has holes in it for the pole / poles to be located in. FIg! (1) The bracket also includes holes for metal or plastic fixings, for attaching it to wall of any flat suitable surface. The back of the bracket plate also has a dovetail rebate to slide the heavy load bearing strap Fig 3 (3) The (ATAB) can be wrapped around a tree trunk or post, with one or more items attached to the clamping devise or the poles extending from it.

The pole I poles on the bracket extend away from the trunk, post, or wall, in any necessary direction suitable for the function of the attached product. Fig! (1) Additional poles may also extend directly clown or up from the belt against the supporting post with the bracket attachment.

Hooks, clips, pockets, eye-lets, Velcro, or any necessary attachments may all be included to the belt or bracket at various stages of development-both for adaptability reasons and to increase the versatility of the product The (ATAB) is adaptable to various support post/trunk sizes, it is weather proof, and versatile in its application depending on which accessory is attached to the product.

For the purposes of demonstration one method of construction, and material is used, is by no means conclusive of the variability of the product through different uses of materials or variations of the basic design. 1?
