Abstract

An attachment for 360' excavator / mini excavator compromising drawbar 3, axle/axles 2, wheels or tracks upon which is mounted a dumper type skip 1 for moving earth and various materials. Connected via the drawbar to the excavator dozer blade 4 the trailer skip can be loaded and unloaded using the excavators digging bucket 6 or load can be ejected by tipping mechanism of gravity roll tip design or using hydraulic cylinder connected to excavator.

<p>Description</p>
<p>Trailed Dumper for excavator.</p>
<p>This invention allows excavator operator to load, move and unload materials using trailed dumper connected to and towed using excavator without leaving operators cabin. Materials can either be ejected by tipping method or scooped out and carefully placed using excavator digging bucket.</p>
<p>Essential features 1. Materials moved without leaving excavator.</p>
<p>2. Light weight in construction and low ground pressure.</p>
<p>3. Very manoeuvrable due to excavators small turning circle.</p>
<p>4. No extra running costs due to none-requirements of engine or driver.</p>
<p>Description to accompany drawings</p>
<p>Fig (I) shows trailed dumper connected to excavator.</p>
<p>Dumper skip(l) is mounted on axle(2) and connected through drawbar(3) to excavator dozer blade(4) and is able to steer in any direction.</p>
<p>Dumper skip( 1) is loaded with materials(5) using excavator bucket(6).</p>
<p>Fig (2) shows dumper skip(1) ejecting materials(S) with dumper skip(1) in tipping position.</p>

Claims (1)

  1. <p>Claims 1. A trailed dumper propelled by 360' excavator / mini excavator
    connected via dozer blade to drawbar for loading, moving and discharging materials without operator leaving excavator.</p>
    <p>2. Due to none requirement of engine / transmission unlike self propelled version saving weight thus reducing soil compaction.</p>
    <p>3. Moving materials becomes a one man operation saving costs and labour.</p>
