Abstract

A device for collecting condensate or rain water within a gas boiler (1), said boiler (1) comprising a containing structure (5), a gas burner, a heat exchanger (3) and electrically powered members such as a fan (11) or a pump (12), the containing structure (5) presenting a hole (19) to which a combustion off-gas discharge pipe (20) and possibly a pipe (21) for combustion air feed to the boiler (1) are connected; within the containing structure (5), in a position corresponding with the hole (19), a tray (30) is present for collecting water originating from at least one of the pipes (20, 21) connected or connectable to said hole (19), said tray (30) presenting a collected water discharge aperture (42) connected to a conduit (32) for conveying said water to a member (14) for collecting the water and for expelling it from the boiler (1).
