Abstract

A bath tap unit that automatically adds for example liquid soap to the bath water when preparing a bath. The unit has an internal detachable reservoir 2 for holding liquid such as liquid soap which fits into a cavity in the bath tap; the reservoir can be removed for cleaning. The reservoir has a hinged access lid 3 to allow the reservoir to be filled. A pull/push dispenser valve 4 on the tap unit controls the stopping or flow of soap from the reservoir into the bath water. When the dispenser valve is in the closed position it will stop the flow of liquid soap into the water and allow the user to fill the bath with water only.

<p>1 2431871 Soap Dispenser Bath Tap Unit.</p>
<p>This invention relates to a bath tap unit which automatically adds liquid soap or any other liquid additives to your bath tub when preparing a bath.</p>
<p>Whenever anyone prepares a bath they normally set the desired temperature then pour the bath foam under the running water.</p>
<p>However, anyone preparing a bath this way usually experiences a common problem of having to use their hand to mix the soap into the water properly, otherwise most of the soap will sit on the bottom of the bath where you have poured it, thus reducing the effectiveness and potential of your bath additives by not being evenly distributed around the bath tub. Furthermore, if you don't mix it in manually you will end up wasting most of the product you have poured into the tub.</p>
<p>To overcome these problems this invention proposes a soap dispenser bath tap unit with an internal detachable reservoir for holding the bath foam, which can be removed for cleaning purposes, an access lid to allow for the refilling of the reservoir, and a pull/push dispenser valve to control the stopping or the releasing of soap from the reservoir.</p>
<p>When the dispenser valve is in the closed position it will stop the flow of soap and allow you to run water only, if so desired.</p>
<p>This invention will now be described by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which, Figure 1 shows a soap dispenser bath tap with an open lid, a reservoir and a valve in the open position.</p>
<p>Figure 2 shows a soap dispenser bath tap with a closed lid and the valve in a closed position.</p>
<p>In figure 1, a soap dispenser bath tap unit I includes a reservoir 2 which fit into a cavity in the bath tap, a open access lid 3 which can be hinged to the tap or the reservoir, and a open dispenser valve 4 which controls the dispense of any liquid from the reservoir.</p>
<p>Figure 2 shows a soap dispenser bath tap unit I with a closed access lid 3 and a closed dispenser valve 4.</p>

  1. <p>Claims 1. A soap dispenser bath tap unit comprising a reservoir, hinge
    lid and a valve, which will automatically adds bath foam to the water when running a bath.</p>
    <p>2. A soap dispenser bath tap unit according to claim 1, in which bath foam can be added to the water by means of a reservoir and valve.</p>
    <p>3. A soap dispenser bath tap unit according to claim I in which bath foam can be stored in a reservoir and is release by a valve, the soap will then flow down and mix in automatically with the running water inside the tap and flows out as a pre-mix solution when running a bath.</p>
